ProTwin LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates ProTwin™ and is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information when you use ProTwin:
- Account Information: Your name and email address, provided through Clerk authentication when you sign up or log in.
- Game Stats: The performance statistics you enter (e.g., points, assists, rebounds) are stored in our database linked to your user ID to power your match history and Career ProTwin.
- Usage Data: Records of your stat matches, badges earned, sport preferences, and in-app activity.
- College Mode Fan Rail: If you use ProTwin in a school-branded (college white-label) mode, we log anonymous fan rail interactions including the school context, link type clicked, and an anonymous session ID. This data is not linked to your personal account.
💳 We do not store payment data. All payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. ProTwin never sees or stores your credit card number or banking details.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Power your Career ProTwin profile and match history
- Award badges and track your progress over time
- Display aggregate (anonymized) session statistics to partner schools
- Improve the accuracy of the matching algorithm and overall app experience
- Communicate important service updates and account notifications
- To send partner offers, product updates, and promotional content to users who have opted in to marketing communications. You can unsubscribe at any time.
🔒 We do not sell your individual user data to third parties. Ever.
3. Data Storage
Your data is handled by trusted, compliant infrastructure providers:
- Cloudflare D1 — User game stats, match history, and usage data are stored in Cloudflare's D1 database infrastructure (US-based).
- Clerk — Account authentication and identity management are handled by Clerk, which is SOC 2 Type II compliant.
- Stripe — Payment processing is handled exclusively by Stripe, which is PCI DSS compliant. ProTwin does not store payment instrument data.
4. College White-Label / Partner Schools
When ProTwin is deployed in college white-label mode for a partner school or institution:
- Partner schools receive only aggregate data — for example, total session counts, sport distribution, and fan rail click totals.
- Individual user data is never shared with partner schools or their athletic departments.
- Users accessing ProTwin through a school-branded experience are subject to the same privacy protections as all other users.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data and match history for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed from our systems within 30 days.

6. Children's Privacy
ProTwin is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us immediately at support@protwin.app and we will promptly delete the account and associated data.
7. Your Rights
You have the following rights with respect to your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate account information.
- Opt-Out: Opt out of having your anonymized data included in aggregate analytics (this will not affect your ability to use the Service).
- Marketing Opt-Out: If you opted in to marketing emails, you may opt out at any time by clicking 'Unsubscribe' in any marketing email, or by contacting support@protwin.app.

8. Third-Party Links
ProTwin may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., professional league sites, school athletic pages). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies independently.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
